Delete your RPG Habits account

RPG Habits lets you delete your account yourself, from inside the app or from this website. It takes about ten seconds, there is nothing to request and nobody to email, and it erases your character, habits, history and items permanently.
Export first, if you want a copy
Deletion cannot be undone and we keep no copy you could ask for later. If you want to keep your history, export it first: the Account screen has a Your data section, and the export button sits directly above the delete controls. It gives you everything we hold about you as a JSON file.
How to delete your account
In the Android app
- Open RPG Habits and sign in, if you aren't already.
- Tap the Account tab, at the far right of the bottom bar.
- Scroll down to Your data.
- Type DELETE into the Confirm box.
- Tap Delete my account.
On the web
- Go to rpghabits.app and sign in.
- Open the Account page from the navigation bar.
- Scroll to Your data and press Delete….
- Type DELETE into the confirmation box.
- Press Delete forever.
You are signed out immediately, and your data is gone from our database before you are. Uninstalling the app on its own does not delete your account — the data lives on our server, not on your phone.
If you can't sign in
If you've forgotten your password, reset it from the sign-in page and then follow the steps above — that is the fastest route, and it stays entirely in your hands. If you genuinely cannot get back in, email privacy@rpghabits.app from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm by reply and delete it within 30 days, usually far sooner. We ask you to write from that address because it is the only way we can tell it's your account — we will not delete an account on someone else's say-so.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleting your account removes your login and every row of data attached to it, in one operation. Nothing is archived, deactivated or held in a recycle bin.

Retention after deletion
- Encrypted infrastructure backups — our database host may hold routine encrypted backups that still contain your rows. These are not searchable by us and are not used to restore individual accounts; they expire on a rolling schedule, within 30 days, after which no copy remains.
- Web and email delivery logs — our web host and our email provider keep ordinary operational records, such as the fact that a message was delivered. These are held by those providers on their own schedules and are not linked to a profile once the account is gone.
- Nothing else. We keep no copy of your habits, history or progress for analytics, backups of our own, or any other purpose. We don't sell data and there is nobody we've shared it with who would need telling.
You are welcome to sign up again afterwards with the same email address. It will be a new, empty account — nothing carries over.
Deleting some data without deleting the account
You don't have to delete everything to stop something. You can archive or edit an individual habit, change your display name or timezone, and turn reminders off, all from inside the app — each without touching the rest of your account.
